SEFS JOINS SCCA
SEFS inagural race with the Sports Car Club of America will take place January 1-4, 2026
SEFS has chosen to work in alignment with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) to create the most effective balance between cost efficiency, track time, and career progression for drivers.
By operating within the SCCA framework, SEFS is able to significantly reduce administrative and sanctioning overhead that typically drives up registration fees in single-seater series. This allows resources to be redirected where they matter most: increased on-track sessions, longer race weekends, and a more efficient event structure—all without compromising safety or professionalism.
From a driver development standpoint, SCCA provides one of the most reputable and widely accepted competition licensing systems in the United States. An SCCA license is directly transferable and recognized across multiple national and international racing platforms, making it an ideal foundation for drivers seeking to advance into higher levels of formula racing, professional series, or international competition.
This approach ensures that drivers are not investing time and money into credentials with limited mobility. Instead, they gain experience and licensing within a proven, respected system that supports progression into advanced championships and professional racing environments.
Ultimately, SEFS’s alignment with SCCA allows the series to deliver:
Lower registration costs through shared infrastructure and streamlined operations
More track time per event by reallocating resources toward competition, not administration
Credible, transferable licensing that supports long-term driver advancement
This model reflects SEFS’s core philosophy: to provide a professional, accessible, and future-focused platform where drivers receive real value, real experience, and a meaningful stepping stone toward higher levels of racing.
