Southeast Formula Series
Who are we?
SEFS (South East Formula Series) is a motorsports organization founded in 2025 with the mission of accelerating the growth of single-seater racing in the United States and creating new, accessible pathways for driver development. Built on a collaborative model, SEFS does not impose a rigid, closed format. Instead, the series works closely with teams and drivers to shape its structure. By actively listening to participants, SEFS adapts schedules, championship frameworks, and cost structures in ways that benefit the entire paddock. We believe long-term success is achieved through cooperation, transparency, and shared objectives. At SEFS, progress is collective. The series grows only when teams and drivers grow alongside it. This philosophy allows SEFS to maintain a professional yet flexible environment—one that supports competitive racing while remaining financially and operationally realistic.

SEFS operates within a recognized and respected licensing framework, working with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA)—the most established and recognized motorsports licensing body in the United States. Through this structure, competitor credentials align with internationally respected standards, ensuring that drivers advance within a framework that represents a genuine and credible step forward in their racing careers.
Though newly established, SEFS is driven by an ambitious vision: to build a sustainable, transparent, and driver-focused championship where teams and competitors actively contribute to the evolution of the series. Innovation, fairness, and shared growth are prioritized over rigid systems and exclusionary models. More than a racing series, SEFS is a springboard—a competitive platform where drivers develop, teams thrive, and each race weekend represents both a sporting challenge and a meaningful milestone in career progression
